The combination of Gai Waterhouse and Star Thoroughbreds hit paydirt with Golden Slipper winner Sebring last season and they could have another big juvenile earner on their hands in 2009: Horizons (above). The Choisir filly has only had the two starts: a second to Our Joan of Arc in a quality-packed Gimcrack Stakes and an easy win over 1000m at Randwick. This Saturday she heads for the Magic Millions Classic on the Gold Coast with a trial win under her belt. Can she pick up yet another MM Classic for Waterhouse, or will boom Queensland filly Paprika keep the trophy at home? Peter Lyne's Gold Coast preview will lead this week's Winning Post.
But before we get to Millions day there's another huge Friday of racing action around Australia and Winning Post will carry full liftout form for five TAB day meetings plus the big night card at Moonee Valley, as well as fields for Darwin.
All up, this week's edition includes full liftout form for 16 meetings from Friday through to Sunday plus fields for a stack more.
Of course, there's much more to Winning Post than form, and this week as usual we've got racing's most widely read forum, Your Say, as well as our colourful Snippets column, the controversial views of Richard Callander and Paul "Richo" Richards's unique take on racing, punting and sport. If that isn't enough to keep you happy between races, there's the crossword, racing trivia quiz and spot the changes challenge.
All over Australia, our popular feature Tracking A Winner will put you on the fast track to punting success, our form foci on the big races will help you sort the contenders from the pretenders, and our Six of the Best will try to steer you into profit  from a small outlay. And don't miss our weekend weather feature, with the early track rating and extended forecast for each of our venues. We've also got more stats than ever to help you back a winner plus Whiteway top fours for every race.  Then there's our information-packed Breeding Scene liftout. Winning Post is now a must for breeders and owners who want to know where and when their favorite sire's stock is running. Our sires index is highly useful, and so is our Sires of Winners page. That's all the week's winners throughout Australia, New Zealand and southern Asia listed under their sires. We also have a comprehensive wrap-up of stakes winners from around the world and their breeding.
