What is happening to the Hayes stable?
I watch all races on Victorian tracks and I see the stables of Moody, Smerdon, Kavanagh, O’Brien and Price regularly present horses on the provincial tracks, where if they don’t win they perform very well.
Most Hayes horses, however, are gone at the top of the straight. I know this is fact — my diminishing wallet tells the story.
Surely with the training set-up they have and the breeding of these horses they should be more competitive.
