Story worth telling
I also heard the story about Jamie Evans, the champion jumps jockey ("Inspirational", 23/7).
Amazing that one minute you’re up at the very top living life in luxury, the next you’re down in the gutter addicted to drugs and alcohol.
With guts and determination Jamie climbed back up and is now on his way to a happy, fulfilling life.
His story should be told to other young athletes who could easily follow in his footsteps. He has first-hand experience of what can happen to anyone.
Good luck, Jamie. You deserve it.
