Once again your trackmen were spot on, tipping the quadrella recently in Melbourne. Unfortunately I missed it because of circumstances beyond my control.
However, bouquets to Paul Richards for his weekly column Richo. Each week he has something of interest to impart to Winning Post readers, for example "May aim: explain names" (6/8), particularly in relation to Aurie’s Star and the race named after him.
His Melbourne Cup analysis a few weeks earlier was fascinating, especially the outcome.
This year has been a disaster on the punt so I’ve looked to Richo for winners and have noted the "will win again" group and the "can improve" group.
I hope Richo can arrest my slump. Meanwhile, good tipping and punting.
