Betfair is in direct competition with Tabcorp so obviously they will not put their name on Sky if they can help it.
Betfair has an agreement with the Melbourne Racing Club for advertising and signage rights, so we see this when coverage of meetings takes place anyway.
I see in Winning Post that Morphettville is not listed as Allan Scott Park Morphettville. But the Scott Group has the naming rights, just as Betfair does at Sandown.
Are you going to say something about that? Oh, that’s right, the SAJC is not aligned, along with the Sydney and Melbourne racing clubs, with tvn.
If you and the extremely dreary Bruce Clark didn’t have Sky or Tabcorp to rave on about, your pieces at times would be very small indeed.
