On the nod
Stewards should not be allowed to tell jockeys to think about protesting.
Stewards can protest on behalf of owners, so why just give a jockey the nod?
Stewards command a lot of respect overall but I fear it is diminishing lately on the back of the Perth Cup, Talia Rodder and Magic Millions cases.
