Stan Howard received his right whack from Wes Heritage (17/3). I especially liked the bit about the long neck, feathers and webbed feet — well done, Wes!

One of my favourites in last year or so has to be Adam A. Barnett, self-proclaimed world authority on just about anything but especially picking horses.

The gold medal, however, has to go to Ken Wood (17/3) for his jaw-dropping piece about Black Caviar avoiding competition!

Heaven help Frankel if Nolen ever really lets Black Caviar down, nothing can get near her anywhere.

Jeepers, Ken, appreciate what a magnificent champion we have here in Australia.
