Can anyone explain to me the criteria for induction into the jockeys’ section of the Australian Racing Hall of Fame?
I would have thought Robert Thompson’s record of riding more than 3700 winners, that is more than 100 winners a year for the 37 years he has been riding, less 12 months out through injury.
That record as Australia’s most winning jockey, coupled with a clean riding record of more than 1000 rides without suspension, would really put him in the "legend" class.
