Whilst a lot work rate Black Caviar as the greatest sprinter of all time, I would have liked to have seen it race against the great Manikato.
In a race at Moonee Valley over 1400 metres, I think I would back Manikato. He was unbeaten at Moonee Valley where he won the William Reid Stakes five years in a row.
He also won the C. F. Orr Stakes four years in a row and the Futurity Stakes three years in a row.
This autumn, watch out for Atlantic Jewel. If they can get her fully fit, she could be a real sensation.
