Just a note of support for Adrian Dunn’s comments on acceptable weather conditions for racing (12/1). As an owner/breeder I do not want to see one of my horses ruined by running on days of extreme heat.
Will the TAB be the one that has to answer to the animal activists when they see another reason to attack our sport?
No, it will be the race clubs, which are bound to put on the show no matter what, that will be in the sights of these do-gooders.
Legislate a temperature and put that in the deal with the TAB.
Keep up the pressure, Adrian, it’s the right thing to do.
