Racing has been in the media for all the wrong reasons the last couple of months, but last Friday night at the Valley TVN captured some fabulous scenes.

The Browell family from Bendigo won a race with their filly Hai Lil on the eighth anniversary of losing their beloved Colin.

And few who witnessed Harry Coffey ride his first city winner will forget it. The interviews that followed with his father, Austy, and Harry himself were truly wonderful.

Then on Saturday at Flemington 27,000 marvelled at the great mare racing into history.

What a class act Peter Moody and Luke Nolen are. Such wonderful people involved in our great industry should make all involved extremely proud.
