I’ve got a great idea for a new, "fictional" soap drama set in the racing industry.
With storylines involving a jockey threatening stewards, alleged race fixing, a love triangle involving sisters boiling over into violence, and many more sordid tales, it’s a guaranteed ratings winner.
But the season finale will take the cake. Watch and see some of Australia’s biggest egos at work as an owner, a trainer and her bookmaking son take away the focus from some wonderful racing over the Sydney carnival.
Oh, hang on. Wrong pitch.
