Number favour Waller
I have to take issue with Caroline Searcey waxing lyrical about the performance of Chris Waller to train five winners last Saturday in her wrap of the day’s proceedings on TVN.
When a trainer has 19 horses running over seven races, one would suggest he had a pretty fair chance of winning at least a couple.
When Mr Waller does what Anthony Cummings can do — like win Group 1 races with three-year-olds first up in their second preparation — then I will dip my lid to him.
Putting the polish on imports might rate in some quarters but not in mine. The performance of Your Song in Brisbane was the best of the day and continues Anthony’s outstanding run with young horses.
Is this fellow (the horse that is) the next All Too Hard?
