All hands on deck
I’d just like to put forward my say about racing on Monday at Echuca.
After an extremely long delay due to the fog, the races finally got under way two hours later.
A big thankyou must go to the club, the stewards, the jockeys, trainers and staff for making it go ahead.
To get 10 races finished at the advertised time was truly a great job considering it started two hours late — right down to the CEO running the bar.
On a personal note, my thanks to Leon Corstens, Gary Gibb and staff, to Jamie Mott for a great ride and Amy for a great job looking after my horse, New York Rockstar. After two years of getting her right, we got the chocolates. Well done to all.
