Just wanted to compliment Tim Auld on his article “Where there’s a Will …” (5/11).
I was very impressed with what Tim had to say about Peter Lafferty’s patience with Mister Will, who had bowed two tendons but had made a successful start to his racing career.
It so happened I saw the horse was entered for a Class 1 at Mt Gambier last Sunday with Dominic Tourneur to ride. Can’t believe 9/1 was bet.
Well done to Tim and to Peter, Melissa Julius and the team at the Lafferty stable and to Dominic on his bold front-running ride.
