Last Saturday, for example, I selected Hey Doc for the Australian Guineas at my assessed price of $3.00. Early Saturday morning I was delighted to secure $4.60. An hour later $5 was available, but then …crash. Best price available on course $3.40.
I’ve been punting for 65 years and tried all manner of systems.
Having the confidence to assess your own prices and then only bet if you can secure “overs” — be it early or late — is the only process I have found to provide consistent annual profits for several years now.
