I wonder if anybody else is starting to share the view that all the hype and hysteria surrounding Winx is becoming a little ho-hum.
She is racing against horses that she is clearly superior too and barring an unfortunate set of circumstances it’s doubtful she will ever get beaten on her merits.
She is not a betting proposition and when she races in a leg of the quadrella it becomes no more than a treble by default.
Oh, if only the owners had the courage to have taken her overseas, that then would have generated a whole new level of continuing interest.
Yes, I understand winning four Cox Plates will place her further into the history books but her mere presence will mean a race I previously enjoyed placing a bet in, I might add with a reasonable degree of success, is now confined to a view-only spectacle, if that.
