With Swacadelic ending his racing career due to health issues, we reflect as owners on the enjoyment he has brought to us.
The German import trained at Warrnambool by Aaron Purcell arrived in Australia in 2015 as a German Derby Trial winner over 2200m.
His record here boasts five wins, six seconds and three thirds from his 46 starts and prizemoney of $500,000.
His wins included the Listed Torney Night Cup and the RM Ansett Classic, along with an Anzac Cup and Terang Cup.
He was narrowly beaten in two Sandown Cups and holds two class track records at The Valley.
He joins our list of successful imports to be raced by Aaron Purcell’s Enjoy Racing team, namely Val Mondo, Initiator, Guizot, King of Dudes and Khezerabad.
