Not too long ago, we had John Messara effectively saying he wasn’t going to race The Autumn Sun against Winx because he did not want to be the one to knock off Winx.
We have Gerald Ryan, who can’t see the point of racing Trapeze Artist against Winx in what he believes has become racing’s version of mission impossible.
With such attitudes, is it any wonder people question the quality of opposition Winx faces in her races?
I can think of only one horse that has really tested Winx — Humidor, and he isn’t exactly considered a champion.
