On Friday March 29 I noticed a favourite horse of mine, Barry the Baptist, entered for Bendigo the following day. I had my usual pensioner’s bet of $2 each way at $81 win and $15 the place.
Imagine my surprise Saturday morning, on checking my previous day’s wagers, to find the TAB had offered me a cashout of $5.30 on this bet.
Is this the usual action for the NSW TAB?

Reply: It will only happen if the horse you’ve had a fixed-odds bet on firms after you’ve backed it.
