Will the passing of Victor Ma also signal the end of each-way betting in Melbourne betting rings? Many a day in recent times he was the only one prepared to bet each way on Saturday metropolitan races.

It’s time the Victorian Bookmakers Association forced its members to declare whether they are each-way, win-only or place bookmakers.
The service we are getting on course is deteriorating and does nothing to encourage us to attend.
