Richie Callander, you have been much better over the last month or so but last Saturday off you went again … too excited for words after Zazabeau’s race.

After Caroline gave the winner the rap he deserved (missed the start by five lengths, last all the way, came around the whole field and won going away from all), up pops Richie boy to tell us how Zazabeau had the best ride in the world and about the unlucky runners in the race.

Richie, what race were you watching? Don’t get me wrong — I think Richie is great for racing and TV. But please call what you see, not what you’d like to have seen.

PS: In my humble opinion Zazabeau this prep should be three out of three.
