I know Playwright doesn’t win often (believe me I know) but come on! His run last Saturday at Flemington, for second, was fantastic — three wide, no cover and on the speed and he just gets pipped on the line.

And what’s Bruce’s comment? Playwright had his chance. If it had been Sadalbari or True Tales or any other horse Bruce tips and it got the same run I think he would have said "tough effort" or "great job".

Please, Bruce, the horse is flying at the moment. I hope he wins the Hobart Cup and if he does I promise I will send Bruce a bottle of something nice!
