Winning Post 2016 Census

Haven't got around to filling out the ABS census yet? Well, never mind that. Here's a far more important questionnaire.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics runs a census every five years to give governments an idea of how many of us there are, what we're doing and what we need. In theory this helps them plan our future.

The questions are quite tedious - especially if you've spent an hour answering them and the website crashes on you. But if they help Australia in future, fair enough. File under "dull but important".

Inspired, therefore, by the raging success that was Census 2016, for the very first time we have created the Winning Post Census.

These questions will give us an idea of how you, the people who keep the racing industry going, think.

Sadly, being hidden away as a link on a website, this census and its results are likely to be of no interest to anyone in power.

However, it might provide Richo with enough fodder to pad his column out for another week or two.

So, if it's not too much trouble, please answer the following questions below.

You don't have to offer any personal information, you won't be fined and we guarantee the website won't crash*.

Sadly, there are no prizes apart from the satisfaction of a job well done, and the warm inner glow that can only be achieved by helping a journalist.

* we can't actually guarantee the website won't crash...
