BRISBANE TRACKWORK
By Winning Post, February 17, 2017 - 2:22 PM

Tony Gollan worked SKYLIMIT and VIENNA ROYALE together on Tuesday over 1000 with the pair getting home their last 400 in 23.8s which was solid work on the A Grass. HI I'M BACK was good in a gallop on Tuesday on his own on the A Grass going over 800 in evens running home the last 400 in 23.9s.  I'M A RIPPA and THE AMBASSADORE were paired in a gallop over 800 in evens on Tuesday and they came home their last 400 in 24s.

BRAZEN MOSS who resumes and doesn't know how to run a bad race looked good as usual in a gallop on Tuesday on his own on the A Grass going over 800 in evens running home the last 400 in 23.6s.

OF THE DAY galloped strongly on Tuesday covering 800 in evens and getting home the last 400 in 24s which was all that was asked of her.

John Zielke whose debutant in the first last Saturday was super impressive has two good chances in on Saturday. ROYAL TITHE who resumes on the back of plenty of jumpouts at his Zielke's new home base at Toowoomba had a working gallop on the grass over 800 on Tuesday and she is very forward for her first up run this time in while ROYAL MYTH who is also resuming has done really well in the break and despite a poor gate will go forward and take catching on Saturday after a strong gallop over 600 in 37s on the grass on Tuesday under a hold.

Ben Currie who had a good winner on Wednesday at Doomben runs THIN DISGUISE on Saturday night at Toowoomba after a strong gallop on Saturday morning over 1200 to run home the last 600 in 36s and PUBLISHING POWER who heads to Ballina on Friday impressed in his gallop on Monday going over 1000 on his own and running home his last 400 in a slick 23.2s.

APOLOBLOOM and I LOVE VEGAS went over 100 at 3/4 pace on Tuesday and ran home their last 400 in 24.2s.

Robert Heathcote's CATENACCIO who has hit form nicely of late worked well on Tuesday going over 800 on the A Grass to run home his last 400 in 24s without being pushed which suggests a big run first up is on the cards.

MEET GEORGE JETSON who is also racing well over 800 also and ran home the last 400 in 24.3s on Tuesday while REMEMBERING FRANK was given a gallop on Tuesday over 1000 running home the last 400 in 24.5s.

THE OVERDRAFT galloped on Tuesday over 1000 running home the last 400 in 24.2s while CAPO DI TUTTI went over 800 to run home the last 400 in 24s which was his usual good work.

Michael Nolan's handy type UPSTART PRIDE who retains the services of the flying veteran Jeff Lloyd continues to work well at home at Toowoomba. He went over 800 on Tuesday on the cushion track at home at Toowoomba to get home the last 400 in 24.5s which was once again top work on that surface.

Kelly Schweida's handy three year old OINK who resumed with a convincing win hasn't gone backwards while his trainer is laid up with a knee operation. (Get better fast, Kelly) He galloped well on Tuesday over 1000 at 3/4 pace running home the last 400 in 25.1 which was top work while ALL TROOPS went over 600 on Tuesday in 36.1s which was also pleasing work and OUTRAGED who gets the benefit of the in-form apprentice Rebecca Williams' claim on Saturday could be ready to fire on his good trackwork this week.

Gallop of the week: BRAZEN MOSS, 400 in 23.6s, A Grass, Good 4, Eagle Farm, Tuesday.

Best for EAGLE FARM: ROYAL MYTH (1), OUTRAGED (2), TOO GOOD TO REFUSE (3), SIR BERUS (4), LA CIGALE (5), DANCE OF HEROES (6), BRAZEN MOSS (7), OINK (8).
