More victories for Vorster

Barend Vorster has established himself as a great asset to the riding ranks in SA and he snared a running double at Morphettville last Saturday.
Set To Sparkle kicked off the good results for him, easily taking out the benchmark 86 handicap over 1300 metres.
Stablemate Light the Waves was next, the Tony McEvoy-trained mare coming from a better-than-midfield position to win over 2250 metres in benchmark 86 company.
Parsifal breaks drought
Will Clarken continued his solid run of success with a double at Morphettville.
One of his winners was the former Mike Moroney-trained Parsifal, who was ridden to victory over 1000 metres by Melbourne hoop Damien Thornton.
Parsifal was resuming from a spell and hadn’t graced the winners stall for 394 days. He has now won three from just nine starts.
 Todd Pannell rose the other Clarken winner, Handsome Return, who did a good job taking the benchmark 75 handicap of 1550 metres.
High hopes for Hearty
John Hyam could have a nice juvenile in his stable in the form of impressive first-up winner Hearty Lass.
A $40,000 buy at the 2018 Inglis Classic Yearling sale, the two-year-old filly led throughout under Raquel Clark. It was the rider’s 300th winner.
 Hyam, said he will look starting Hearty Lass in a feature race during the upcoming Adelaide Festival of Racing.
Big payout for supporters of Vegas
Wangaratta trainer Renee Hoysted was delighted with the performance of Vegas Boulevard to win at big odds in the 1400 metre benchmark 70 handicap at Morphettville.
Vegas Boulevard was ridden by Jason Holder.
Sairyn shines
Sairyn Fawke took the flat-riding honours at Oakbank last Sunday, with two winners. They were the Dan Shepherd-trained That’s Two Slabs and the John Hickmott prepared Putting On Airs.
