This week's Winning Post is now available online here

Tasmanian readers please note Winning Post is now printed in Launceston and available every Friday morning throughout Tassie.

She's not quite the new Winx, but Verry Elleegant is coming off an impressive first-up win in the Winx Stakes and next up is another race the mighty mare dominated last decade: this Saturday's Colgate Optic White Stakes.

The Chris Waller-trained five-year-old will relish the extra 200 metres of Saturday's mile event, highlight of a huge program at Royal Randwick. Our front-page horse is Classique Legend, Joel Marshall's tip to win the Group 2 Shorts.

There's Group 1 action in Melbourne too, with Caulfield's program headed by the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes.

Our form coverage kicks off on Friday with full form guides for Newcastle Cup/Tibbie Stakes/Cameron Handicap day plus bet365 Geelong and Canberra with fields, colours and tips for other Friday meetings.

The metro racing this Saturday is at Caulfield in Melbourne, Randwick in Sydney, Morphettville in Adelaide, Gold Coast in Queensland and Belmont in Perth.

Winning Post carries full-colour liftout guides for all those meetings plus Tatura (Vic/SA/Tas edition), Newcastle (NSW edition) and Ipswich (Qld edition), as well as fields, tips, ratings and/or colours for other TAB Saturday cards.

On Sunday we've got liftout formguides for four more TAB meetings including Gold Nugget day at Sportsbet-Ballarat plus fields, ratings, tips and colours for a stack more Sunday and Monday programs.

Don't forget Winning Post now carries trackwork reports for all four Melbourne training tracks, all three in Sydney, Morphettville in Adelaide and a general Brisbane report.

Away from the form, we've got news columns from Queensland, NSW, six Victorian districts, SA and Tasmania.

Our readers have their say on page 4, while further back in the book Shane Templeton reminisces, Paul Richards presents his unique take on the sport, Tony Kneebone brings you his Snippets column and Number Cruncher delivers the stats that matter.

Winning Post costs $5.50 and is in shops the crack of dawn Friday.
