Eaton roll continues

Jessica Eaton kept her great run going in South Australia when she won two races at Murray Bridge last Saturday.
The former Victorian hoop brought up the first leg her of her double when two-year-old Saasmit won over 1000 metres.
 A $21,000 yearling, the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-prepared Saasmit came from midfield to score a strong three-length win on debut.
Eaton completed her double when the former New Zealand mare Unlaced, now with Michel Hickmott, scored impressively.
Hickmott says he will consider aiming Unlaced at the Group 2 Queen Of The South Stakes over 1600 metres on May 1 and the listed 2000-metre Centaurea Stakes two weeks later.
Good catch for Clarken
Will Clarken’s Second Slip, formerly from New Zealand, won his first Australian start at Murray Bridge — a benchmark 68 handicap over 1200 metres.
With Todd Pannell aboard, Second Slip recorded his third win overall in 13 starts.
La Richesse gave Clarken a second winner for the day when the four-year-old mare won a 1400-metre benchmark 60 handicap.
 La Richesse led throughout to give Victorian hoop Mitch Aitken his first SA victory.
Sights set higher
Morphettville trainer Ryan Balfour was very pleased with the 1200-metre win by three-year-old Outlaws Revenge.
Ridden by Dom Tourneur, Outlaws Revenge powered home from last at the top of the straight. Balfour says the gelding has earned a spell ahead of a preparation which should include the Group 2 Tobin Bronze Stakes (the old Euclase Stakes) over 1200 metres at Morphettville on May 1.
Glass shines
Naracoorte’s Sue and Jason Jaensch were delighted with the victory by Von Costa Glass in benchmark 82 company at Murray Bridge.
Von Costa Glass was ridden by Victorian Arron Lynch.
A first for Alana
Congratulations to apprentice Alana Kelly on riding her first metropolitan winner. It was achieved aboard Can’tforgetyou over 1000 metres.
Power pair at Port
Port Lincoln trainer Jackie Stoetzer and jockey Jake Toeroek teamed up for a running double at Port Lincoln last Sunday.
Their winners were Rashyathere and Riverside Rock.  
Jockeys Eran Boyd and Lizzie Annells also had multiple victories. Boyd’s winners were the Alexander Justice-prepared Anjah and Shylie Williams’s My Mate Sonny.
Annells won on Scary Go Round for Robert King prepared and Rock Hard for Byron Cozamanis.
