Classic opportunity
By Winning Post, November 28, 2021 - 12:56 PM

This week's Winning Post is now available online here.

The Perth Masters concludes this Saturday with the running of the $1 million Kingston-Town Classic (1200m), which presents classy six-year-old Regal Power with a genuine chance at his second Group 1 win.

Representing the cerise-and-white army of Bob Peters, Regal Power won the Railway Stakes of 2019, but his best Group 1 result since has been second in the 2020 Australian Cup.

He's no bridesmaid, though. As well as being a dual Group 2 winner, he won the $5 million All-Star Mile in the autumn of 2020.

Back east, it's Pakenham Cup day in Victoria and George Moore Stakes day at Doomben.

Our form coverage kicks off on Friday with a full form guide for The Valley (and Devonport in the Tassie edition), plus fields, colours and tips for the other Friday TAB meetings.

The metro racing this Saturday is at Pakenham in Victoria, Rosehill in Sydney, Morphettville in SA, Doomben in Brisbane and Ascot in Perth.

Winning Post carries full-colour liftout guides for all those meetings plus Stawell (Vic/SA/Tas edition), Newcastle (NSW edition) and Gold Coast (Qld edition), as well as fields, tips, ratings and/or colours for other TAB Saturday cards.

On Sunday we've got liftout formguides for three more TAB meetings as well as fields, ratings, tips and colours for a stack more Sunday and Monday programs.

Don't forget Winning Post now carries trackwork reports for all four Melbourne training tracks, all three in Sydney, Morphettville in Adelaide and a general Brisbane report.

Away from the form, we've got news columns from Queensland, NSW, six Victorian districts, SA and Tasmania.

Our readers have their say on page 6, while further back in the book Shane Templeton reminisces, Paul Richards presents his unique take on the sport, Tony Kneebone brings you his Snippets column and Number Cruncher delivers the stats that matter.

Winning Post costs $5.50 and is available Thursday afternoon online ($5), the crack of dawn Friday in shops.
