Easter feast
By Winning Post, March 24, 2024 - 5:48 AM

This week's Winning Post is now available online here.

It's Easter week, and you've got an extra day for contemplation ... of the form for Saturday's big meetings.

Your whirlaway Winning Post will be out Thursday morning in Victoria, NSW, Queensland and Tasmania with form for Thursday night, Good Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The main Easter action is in Sydney for the conclusion of the Rosehill carnival, with 2022 Melbourne Cup winner Gold Trip looking for a third Group 1 win in the Tancred Stakes, while gun Kiwi filly Orchestral targets the Vinery Stud Stakes.

Elsewhere, it's Australian Cup day at Flemington, Railway Stakes/Onkaparinga Cup day at Oakbank and the Brisbane action is at Doomben.

Our form coverage kicks off on Thursday with a full form guide for the Pakenham night meeting plus fields, colours and tips for the other Thursday venues

Good Friday is no longer a day of rest for the punter and we've got full form for bet365 Yarra Valley (featuring the $500,000 Country Discovery and $150,000 Country Oaks) and Ascot (featuring the Marjorie Charleson Classic) in your Easter Winning Post (plus full form for Launceston in our Tassie edition) along with fields for other venues.

The metro racing this Saturday is at Flemington in Melbourne, Rosehill in Sydney, Oakbank in the Adelaide Hills and Doomben in Brisbane.

Winning Post carries full-colour liftout guides for all those meetings plus Warracknabeal (Vic edition) and Wyong (NSW/Qld/SA edition), as well as fields, tips, ratings and/or colours for other TAB Saturday cards.

On Sunday we've got liftout formguides for three more TAB meetings including Stawell Cup day plus fields, ratings, tips and colours for more Sunday programs.

Don't forget Winning Post now carries trackwork reports for all four Melbourne training tracks, all three in Sydney, Morphettville in Adelaide and a general Brisbane report.

Away from the form, we've got news columns from NSW, six Victorian districts, SA and Tasmania.

Our readers have their say on page 6, while further back in the book Shane Templeton reminisces, Paul Richards presents his unique take on the sport, Tony Kneebone brings you his Snippets column and Number Cruncher delivers the stats that matter.

Winning Post costs $5.50, $5 online.
