This week's Winning Post is now available online here
WA's Pinnacles carnival continues this Saturday with the running of the Group 1 $1.5 million Winterbottom Stakes (1200m), which has been a happy hunting ground for visiting stables in recent years.
Not counting 2021's covid lockout, eastern-states stables have won 11 of the past 15 Winterbottoms.
Last year's winner, the Bjorn Baker-trained Overpass, is back for another crack.
Back east, it's Zipping Classic/Sandown Guineas at Caulfield, while the Festival Stakes, a traditional Villiers lead-up, takes centre stage at Rosehill and it's George Moore Stakes day at Doomben.
Our form coverage kicks off on Friday with a full form guide for The Valley, plus fields, colours and tips for the other Friday TAB meetings.
The metro racing this Saturday is at Caulfield in Melbourne, Rosehill in Sydney, Morphettville in Adelaide, Doomben in Brisbane and Ascot in Perth.
Winning Post carries full-colour liftout guides for all those meetings plus bet365 Yarra Valley (Vic/SA/Tas edition), Kembla Grange (NSW edition) and Gold Coast (Qld edition), as well as fields, tips, ratings and/or colours for other TAB Saturday cards.
On Sunday we've got liftout formguides for three more TAB meetings including Jericho Cup day at the Bool as well as fields, ratings, tips and colours for a stack more Sunday and Monday programs.
Don't forget Winning Post now carries trackwork reports for all four Melbourne training tracks, all three in Sydney, Morphettville in Adelaide and a general Brisbane report.
Away from the form, we've got news columns from Queensland, NSW, six Victorian districts, SA and Tasmania.
Our readers have their say on page 4, while further back in the book Shane Templeton reminisces, Paul Richards presents his unique take on the sport, Tony Kneebone brings you his Snippets column and Number Cruncher delivers the stats that matter.
Winning Post costs $6 and is available Thursday afternoon online ($5), the crack of dawn Friday in shops.
