This week's Winning Post will be available online here from 3pm Thursday AEST.

The Doomben section of Queensland's carnival reaches its climax this Saturday with the running of the $1 million Group 1 weight-for-age Doomben Cup over 2000 metres.

Reigning cups double hero Half Yours will again be strongly fancied.

Support races at Doomben include the Group 2 Roses for the Oaks-bound fillies, two-year-olds, the Group 3 BRC Sprint, the Group 3 Pam O'Neill Stakes for the fillies and mares, the Carter Stakes for the two-year-old fillies and the Chief De Beers for the speedsters.

Saturday racing returns to town in NSW (Randwick) but goes bush in SA (Murray Bridge). In Melbourne Sandown hosts its first Saturday meeting of 2026.

The Provincial Series Final is the highlight at Belmont in the west.

Our form coverage kicks off on Friday with fields, colours, previews and tips for all TAB meetings (plus full form for Gold Coast in the Queensland edition).

The metro racing this Saturday is at Sandown in Melbourne, Randwick in Sydney, Murray Bridge in SA, Doomben in Brisbane and Belmont in Perth.

Winning Post carries full-colour liftout guides for all those meetings plus Echuca (Vic/SA edition) and Newcastle (NSW edition), as well as fields, tips, ratings and/or colours for other TAB Saturday cards.

On Sunday we've got liftout formguides for three more TAB meetings (plus Hobart in the Tassie edition), as well as fields, ratings, tips and colours for a stack more Sunday and Monday programs.

Don't forget Winning Post now carries trackwork reports for four Victorian training tracks, three in Sydney, Morphettville in Adelaide and a general Brisbane report.

Away from the form, we've got news columns from NSW, six Victorian districts, SA and Tasmania.

Our readers have their say on page 4, while elsewhere in the book Shane Templeton reminisces, Paul Richards presents his unique take on the sport, Matt Stewart weighs in on the issues and Number Cruncher delivers the stats that matter.

Winning Post costs $7.00 and is available Thursday afternoon online ($6), the crack of dawn Friday in shops.
