Good names
Had to have a chuckle when the reacecaller at Moruya on Saturday March 20 said the horse called Blurred Vision was "seeing the whole field".
It put me in mind of a horse a number of years ago called Anyone Can. At one Saturday Melbourne metro meeting the caller said: "Anyone Can win this race." It didn’t, but 10 days later it did win, at the juicy odds of $75!
Then there was the day the horse called Itchy Feet was scratched.
One thing you used to see in a horse’s breeding that you never see anymore — "by Unidentified Sire out of Station Mare".
