I couldn’t agree more with Mick Coffey (12/1) about racecourse facilities.
I do, however, believe that Caulfield’s facilities are a cut above the rest.
I believe that Racing Victoria should introduce a general admission membership that gets punters into all Victorian race meetings (punters can’t be expected to be a member of three separate metro clubs).
I attend 30-40 meetings per year all around the state and I’m not interested in using members’ facilities and following dress codes. I’m a shorts-and-thongs man.
And I bet there are plenty of punters out there like me.
