Rats in the rankings
It mystifies me that the Group 3 Geelong Cup has not yet been ungraded to Group 2 status.
Particularly as Racing Victoria itself supports the proposition, and given the awesome record of the race over the past decade and more in producing star performers in the Melbourne Cup run just a couple of weeks later.
What more does the Geelong Racing Club have to do to earn an upgrade?
I smell a rat.
