What a touching story about trainer Dean Saxon and his mate Stormy Jim (3/5). It’s wonderful to read of the loyalty shown towards this horse by Dean and his other owners right up until his recent passing.

A horse doesn’t have to have won million of dollars to be "special" and a trainer doesn’t have to be in the headlines every day and have a hundred horses in work to earn the respect of others.

Well done, Dean, and what a lovely write-up by Carl Di Iorio also. This is truly what racing is all about for many of us.
