Winx’s Australian record is outstanding. Best Australian horse. But in her last race, she beat Kluger, another second-rate racehorse, which is nothing to write home about.
Recently, we saw a true international champion win in Dubai — Almond Eye (six starts for five Group 1 wins, one Group 3 win and prizemoney of $A13,728,665).
In my opinion, Almond Eye is significantly superior to Kluger, and would have beaten Winx in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes.
I now expect to be hung, drawn and quartered.
