I see the worst newspaper in the history of human endeavour, Sydney’s Daily Telegraph, used the field for last week’s Ladbrokes Stakes to lambast “gutless Victorians” — on its front page, no less.
Poor dears.
It must be frustrating when a three-horse field in Melbourne garners more attention from mainstream Australia than the entire Sydney spring carnival.
