Over the top
I could not let Singo’s outrageous behaviour at the end of a wonderful carnival go without comment.
His horses may not have got any media coverage but he certainly did. For him to sound off at Tom Waterhouse publicly, without proof, was totally out of hand.
Yes, Gai should have reported the use of antibiotics on More Joyous, but for Singo to stand over her while she is trying to give Nash Rawiller instructions was way over the top.
For the best thing to ever happen to racing — Gai — to be treated this way was poor.
All in all, Singo has spoiled what was a grand moment for our next champion (All Too Hard) but he was aided and abetted by a media that wants to tear the big poppies down.
