Mr Wathen Berry’s international report is always a very good summary of major overseas racing, and well worth reading.
His perceptive remarks (10/3) about last season’s Royal Ascot placegetter Headway were interesting.
What he did not say, though, was that Headway’s ownership includes an Australian.
Prominent Sydney racing identity Wilf Mula has a share in Headway by virtue of his membership of the Royal Ascot Racing Club.
Let’s hope Headway continues on to Classic glory.
