2014 saw the very sad loss of several important lives in the racing industry, as recognised by Tony Kneebone in last week’s Winning Post.
The name of a very hard-working, consistent contributor to country racing should also be recognised. Alec (Jock) Templeton’s influence on racing and polocrosse in Gippsland and the surrounding area has been immense and continues on through his sons Paul, Michael and Cameron.
May we recognise his great ability and his consistent contribution to our racing and polocrosse — something we can continue to build on.
