A letter I wrote on vet-checking horses behind the barrier appeared last week, and guess what? At Rosehill last Saturday, 7/4 favourite Plaquette was inspected and passed fit to run, finishing a slashing eighth.
Can somebody mount a plaque — or even just a plaquette — in the stewards’ room that reads: “If checked in haste, you do not race.”
