Credit has to go to the Victorian Racing Club for the way they facilitated owners at Flemington last Saturday.
They struck a good balance between providing a sufficient owners’ experience under the circumstances and having the right protocols in place to ensure attendee and more importantly participant safety.
Once again the racing industry shows it is leading the way in navigating through these difficult times.
Although it wasn’t the full raceday experience it certainly was a glimmer of hope after a long time away from the track.
Hopefully we can all get back to some normality sooner rather than later.
