This business of racing a mare in foal I think is very cruel, using the cycical hormones to win a race, after which the mare has to recover and resupply nutrients to the foal. Perhaps Carolyn Searcy could check on the careers of the resulting foals and what harm may or may not have been done.

Speaking of Carolyn, I rarely watch TVN but I have seen her at times discussing breeding.

I have also read comments about her spending too much time on it, but she should go all she can — there are a lot of winners in the breeding.

And she should never be upset by idiots that criticise her.
