Bold, gutsy, Vo Rogue-style front runners are great to watch (and, on the whole, more reliable to back) but for mine nothing beats a swooper.
Chautauqua was off the screen for most of the straight. How fast was he going at the finish?
A pity he’s not going on to Royal Ascot, but heartening to know his connections have interests other than cash at heart.
