I think the most successful stable in Victoria in 2015 has been not your Moodys or Weirs but the smaller team of Pat Carey, who boasts a strike rate that’s unbelievable.
Carey has had some great winning doubles, like East Afrika and Kareeming at Moonee Valley, Wonder Boy and Cresta Condor at Mornington .
Pat also deserves kudos for booking star apprentice Pat Moloney to ride a lot of those winners.
