What a fantastic 2014 Pakenham Gold Cup on Sunday February 9 — huge crowd, great atmosphere. It was an exciting pre-race build-up and call from Terry Bailey, reminding us it was going to be the last running of the cup at the old course before the club moves to its new digs at Tynong. Nothing short of outstanding.

The winner, Captain Fancypantz, pulled off an amazing training performance by Cameron Templeton, under a gun ride by Damien Lane.

The Pakenham Racing Club should be congratulated on putting on a wonderful day for all.
