Sky's not the limit
I read several articles knocking Racing Victoria for the blackout of Victorian racing on Sky Channel.
RV do not choose for it not to be on Sky — that’s Sky’s call.
In any case, I’m holidaying in far north Queensland and cannot understand the fuss. I have been watching Vic races on Channel 78 every day for about three weeks, at home, in pubs and at clubs.
The coverage is great and full. No attempts at unfunny slapstick comedy, the mounting yard coverage has audio and vision in sync — and we get metro and country Victorian racing.
But please in future, Seven, do not impose Bruce McAvaney on us — or those stupid under-the-rails shots.
I’m happy now to say goodbye to Sky and Foxtel as I am not interested in the Waller and Waterhouse show.
