As a punter of 50 years I thought Richie Callander had made a dill of himself about as much as one can, but on TVN last week he set a new mark by declaring Proisir the best $1.14 bet of the century.
Proisir, by Choisir out of Prophet Jewel, against It’s a Dundeel, by High Chaparral out of Stareet, a Zabeel mare, over 2000 metres at Randwick.
All he did was get us a better price It’s a Dundeel.
