Look at Sydney’s list: Bowman, Shinn, McDonald, McEvoy, Avdulla, Cassidy, Clark, Angland, Schofield, Collett, Berry, Reith. Then throw in the overseas-based Sydney jocks Purton, Brown and N. Rawiller, plus the nation’s winningest two jocks — R. Thompson and G. Ryan.
I rest my case.
However, I do concede Victoria and Queensland have the best two race callers in Alan Thomas and Rick McIntosh.
